Since the installation instructions for Linux are rather terse, published the following instructions for those wishing to install the player on computers with Ubuntu.

If we look at the system files on your Ubuntu looking for the location of the flash player, you will see references to it in multiple sites. Also we note that the installation was done with the system alternatives, which we will benefit by installing the version of "square" without removing the stable we have alcualmente. What we do is to respect all this setup and add as a new alternative version square. This avoids the need to uninstall the version you currently have. Also allow that if problems occur or become unstable, we can easily go back and continue watching the system and update the stable version.

Installation:

We go to the page listed above and download the 64-bit version for Linux :

create an installation directory (With a name and location consistent with the stable version) to make it in this new version:
 
sudo mkdir / usr / lib / flashplugin-square

sudo tar-xzf ~ /

After doing a few tests results are excellent: The player is extremely stable and everything seems to work properly.
